Easy One Bowl Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup any flavor chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Melt one stick of unsalted butter. Add to medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Into the same bowl, add 3/4 c flour; 1 c sugar; 2 large eggs; 1/4 c yogurt, 2/3 c cocoa powder; 2 tsp vanilla and 1/4 tsp baking powder. Whisk all together until smooth. Stir in one cup of your choice of baking chips.
  • Grease a 9x9 baking dish and add the brownie batter. Sprinkle your choice of toppings on top, such as crushed walnuts and shredded coconut.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out mostly clean. If you wait until the toothpick comes out clean, the brownies will likely be overdone.
  • Let brownies cool fully before enjoying.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 1 week
  • Freeze individually wrapped brownies in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
