Heavy Whip Powdered Sugar Vanilla

Separate the egg yolks and whites. Add sugar, milk and vanilla to the egg yolks. Slowly add in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

Whip the egg whites with the cream of tartar and the sugar till they build volume and form stiff peaks.  Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until just combined. Pour in a 9x13 casserole dish and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

After the cake has baked, poke holes all over it so the milk mixture can soak into it. Mix the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk together and pour mixture over cake. Set in the fridge for 30-60 minutes to allow milk to soak into the cake.

While the cake is soaking, make the whip cream. Combine the heavy whip, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a large bowl and whip until the cream builds volume . It will look like whipped cream and have soft peaks.

Spread the whipped cream evenly over the tres leches cake. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top, and add fresh fruit if desired.
